Powerful and intense on both the eyes and the palate, having fresh scents. Beginning with fresh fruits and complex tannins to balance the palate, and ending with a slight peppery finish.

The wine is 100% Syrah, grown in Chavanay on a 1.4 hectare plot of sandy, altered muscovite granite. Despite being a Saint-Joseph, this parcel is within a micro-climate more typically used for Condrieu. This gives it a wholly unique profile unlike any other Saint-Joseph.

The grapes are harvested by hand, then transferred to 30 hl vats with 50% whole bunches for vinification. The wine is fermented using local yeasts, then aged for 22 months in casks of 15% new wood.
