Côte-Rôtie - Côte Blonde

An intense red color with garnet reflection, with a discreet nose. Fresh and complex, with extraordinary length and delicacy. The fruit is bright and fleshy, the tannins are intense and silky with subtle spices.
The amphitheater-like parcel of land, grown since 1934, is planted with 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier across only 0.5 hectares. The ten terraces 2m wide and 150m high are composed of micaschist and clay, causing the vines to adapt to the draining subsoil produce perfectly ripe grapes.
The grapes are carefully collected by hand and placed in 30 hl tanks with 30% whole bunches. After pressing, the malolactic fermentation occurs in barrels using native yeast cultures. The wine is aged in oak casks of 50% new wood for 22 months.
